Since 2014, Wild Strawberries has been the only dedicated spoken word stage at Cambridge’s annual one-day festival, Strawberry Fair. As an inaugural part of the Strawberry Arts Area (a magnificently chilled and gently radical feast of community arts), we’ve been hosting all sorts of gorgeousness year on year on our beloved checkered stage, draped in festoons of fabric, featuring wordsmiths fit for the fabulous community we serve. Friendly, fierce, proud, and determinedly safe under the banner of Allographic Events, we’ll continue to welcome every spoken word artist from the terrified beginner to the (let’s face it, still terrified but better at masking it) veteran performer, all the way from noon until the Fair closes for the night.
